16Just coming out of the holiday season means some of us probably have gift cards lying around that we plan on never using. In the past, I would always give those gift cards away or even tuck them away somewhere only to find them years later. What a waist! Well now there are gift card exchange services available that allow you to sell your unwanted gift cards and make some money. Its cool because they except all types of gift cards and you can put some money in your pocket instead of letting it go unused. All you do let them know what type of card you have, the amount, and they will give you a price they are willing to pay for your card. Its that easy! Check out Plastic Jungle if you want to get rid of an old gift card or even buy one.
In addition to giving up your unwanted cards, if your in the market to buy a gift card you no longer have to pay full price. You can buy them from a gift card exchange service at a discounted price. Whether you want to buy a gift card for a gift or keep it for yourself, getting a discount off the face value of the card is the way to go. Just search for the card you want, find the price your willing to pay, and get the card for a cheaper price. For example, you could get a $100 Best Buy gift card and only pay $80 for it. The discount you receive varies, but at least you wont have to pay full price.
