When it comes to credit cardholders and their plastic there is no doubt that a love loss has occurred over the last year. For many, the very thought of using a credit card to make purchases has become something of a taboo; and for others it has simply become something that will only be reserved in the case of an emergency. While there are still some that use their credit cards to make everyday purchases the fact is that many are reluctant to do so. Whether it is because they no longer trust credit card issuers or are still reeling from all the recent changes, thousands have started to put more focus on their financial lifestyle and plans.

For this reason many issuers are trying to figure out what can be done in order to get you to use your current plastic or switch to another. Over the last couple of months we have seen multiple credit cards released having new features and benefits hoping to get the attention of those cardholders that may have been lost for varies reasons. While it has yet to be determined if these new cards will have the outcome that issuers are hoping for, it is almost certain that future cards will continue to have issuers develop plastic that is far from what you have seen in the past.

With all of things that have happened in the last couple of months we would love to hear from you. When it comes to credit cards have you decided to use them less or completely get rid of them? Is there any way that issuers can get your business back?
